Lifespan Pharmaceutical Ltd. is among the major producers of sachet water in Zaria-Nigeria. The product of Lifespan Pharmaceutical Limited is highly consumed in Zaria and its surroundings. Within Kaduna State, it ranks among the highest patronized packaged water. Data has been collected to monitor quality in Lifespan’s water packaging process. Data was collected using the random sampling method; it involved the inspection of some randomly selected finished products on a daily basis. The data on the number of defective sachets were collected two times (morning and afternoon shifts) per day. This was done for three weeks. The data reporting the number of defective sachets per day is in the file MiniCasesQCData.xlxs You have been asked to produce a monitoring and control report of the current state of the production process and to determine whether the process is in control or not. This report must include control charts, an analysis of the results and suggestions for the company’s quality control efforts. Suggestion: Analysis the data by day of the week.
