The task is two different essays, the first one is specific and the second is open and general.
The first one:
I have already made a proposal for the first essay earlier, which is attached, now i want you to build on my proposal and make an essay following the same idea and theme,
I have selected two texts and compared and contrasted one theme in both. (the texts and theme are your choice: just note that the texts should be from different authors) I encourage you to choose both a theme and texts that interest you.
The essay should have an introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. How you organize each of these components is up to you, and the organization should be driven by the content of your essay (remember to avoid imposing a generic, “five-paragraph” essay structure) Your ultimate goal is to make a clear, fluid, well-supported academic argument to address how the two texts compare and contrast in the context of the specific theme you have chosen.
The two texts are:
1-Kincaid, Jamaica. Lucy.
2-Sullivan, John Jeremiah. Pulphead: Essays
4-5 pages long for the first essay. In MLA format 1.15 spacing
The second essay:
perform a two-page rhetorical or literary analysis of any text you like or you choose. It can be any text that you want as long as it’s a new work not plagiarized. MLA format 1 spacing as well.
