For each textbook compete a 3-6 page analysis, answering the following questions:
- What are the strengths of this resource; i.e. what insights does the author bring out that are most biblical and helpful? (1-2 pages)
- What issues are raised by the author that I either disagree with or want to research further in order to determine my stance toward them? Why? (1-2 pages)
- How, specifically, can I apply material gleaned from this text to my ministry? Be as specific and detailed as possible in naming the steps you plan to take as a result of working through this material. (1-2 pages)
As you type this assignment, use the three questions above as the template for your analysis. Length is not the critical issue in the analysis; thoughtful interaction with the material is key.
