PURPOSE
This assignment helps students explore and clarify the relevant concepts and theories and tests their ability to express and/or apply them in a clear and logical manner.
REQUIREMENTS AND DEADLINE
Students should follow APA reference system (Please refer to http://www.apastyle.org/ for details of APA reference system) in the assignment. Incorrect citing of references may be subject to a deduction of 10% of the awarded marks.
The soft copy of the report (including the cover page and rubric) should be uploaded to Moodle on or before 5:00 pm, Friday in Week 7. Late submission will be subject to a deduction of 10% of the awarded marks per calendar day. Plagiarism will deserve no mark.

Question 1
There are two countries “Woody” and “Sweety”. Recently, the government of Woody has placed many restrictions upon the use of the language of Sweety within the border. They argue that the inflow of Sweety’s movies, music, and literature is responsible for the dilution of their rich culture. Woody’s government also claimed that culture of Sweety is strange and Sweety should follow Woody’s way to do business.
What are the possible reasons for Woody’s government to place restrictions on the use of Sweety language ? The argument of Woody’s government is vulnerable to criticism. Please discuss.
Question 2
In the 21st century, China has climbed to the second largest economy of the world with average per-capita annual income 30,000 yuan. However, due to the global Covid-19 impact, what are the challenges ahead ? Please explain.
