There is a scientific consensus on Climate Change. It is a fact that global temperature averages have increased and that weather patterns are changing across the Earth. These changes have profound affects on all components of ecosystems, including humans. Climate change is expected to intensify in the future. Scientific research documents that these changes are occurring mostly because of increased CO2 emissions from industry, vehicles, coal burning power plants and the burning of forests. Using your class materials and at least one additional outside source, explain how climate change is currently affecting the United States and how it will affect the United States in the future. Include at least one specific example of current effects and one specific example of expected future changes. The source of each example should be cited. Additionally, propose a solution that the U.S. government should implement and a change that you can make to reduce climate change.
