Your analysis should examine some aspect of development. The project is open to any development idea or topic you find interesting. You could expand on any development idea you think is interesting. For example, you think inequality is interesting- you can write your entire paper about inequality. You are encouraged to be creative, focus your analysis, and explore (further learn). Or you can investigate a topic we did not cover. We don’t have time for credit markets or environmental issues.
If you want to “take the easy way” and earn a maximum grade of XX for the analysis project, then follow these instructions. Use the homework to write your analysis project about the developing nation you picked. Use any of the materials, statistics, theory taught in the class. After examining the country and determining its current development, you should discuss how to increase development in the country. Explain where resources should be provided and the expected development gain.
Here’s a general outline
1. History and brief backdrop of the country.(India)
2. (Some) statistics used, the values measured, and the meaning of the statistic. You do not have to use all the statics covered in homework or lecture. Your statistics should explain what you think is important to explain. Some statistics are useless in you paper so don’t use them. You do not earn points for including (unneeded) statistics. The reader will not be impressed with projects that include statistics that are not part of the analysis. Points will be lost if it appears the paper is full of unneeded statistics.
format: Non-paper, creative format: PowerPoint, audio file, song, interview, animated movie, short play, interpretive dance, short story, etc. If you use an alternative method, include something short that explains what we should see so we’re not confused
