Create a hypothetical HIPAA complaint addressed to the HHS Office of Civil Rights. Content requirements are addressed in the link. Include a description of the specific behavior that violated the patient’s privacy. This paper must be typed and professionally written, not a filled-in form. Add a reference list.

Part B- Policy Development

First – go to the above website and pick a medical-legal topic that is of interest to you.

Second – provide a summary of the data provided on your topic.

Third – assume that you are a public official. You are assigned the task of developing a policy relative to your topic. (In short, a policy is a statement on how to implement a law or regulation.) Provide your policy proposal statement.

Fourth – provide your rationale for the policy.

Fifth – provide a data compliance procedure for the policy. In other words, how will the success of the policy implementation be monitored?

Note: Do not include the entire text of a statute. It is the student’s understanding and analysis of the law that is important.

Recommended Length: 7-8 professional paragraphs Not including cover and reference Page. Answer as first, second, third……… and fifth.
