Last week you were introduced to a sample of a School Crisis Plan (SCP) presentation for a staff development. You also had the opportunity to discuss the plan based upon the grade level that you will be working on in the future in our colaborative sessions on Black Board. Now as an assignment for your Grade Level Group you are to write up your own SCP for a ficticious school site and present your plan (Power Point) to our class on our last week of our course. Each member of the group will submit a copy of the plan and your write up of the process and what you learned from this project. The paper will be in APA style and submitted with your Power Point presentation. Check the Course Resources for assistance on formating APA style and or work with the Writing Center for assistance in as well.
The Due Date is the last week during out last Colaborative session, the exact date and time will be determined by your professor. When you do your presentation may be on the third week or fourth week of our course. Remember each one of you must place a copy of your report and your paper in the assignment box for credit.
The actual presentation will be during our last two Colaborative Sessions thus the professor will need to have one copy of your power point to cue up into the system. You will be given between 10 and 15 mins for the presentation. Usually if practiced it is a smooth 10 mins!
