What has really “stuck with you” from prior writing you’ve done–both inside and outside of the classroom? What do you know about writing from doing it in other contexts besides school? • Who are you as a writer? If you had to pick 5 adjectives to describe your “writing self,” what would they be? Do you feel different writing for school than you do writing in other contexts? How so?
Reading Response 2 The purpose of the reading response is to help you generate and process your ideas about a given week’s readings and demonstrate your ability to read, synthesize and respond to academic texts. In 600 words, respond to the readings from this week by summarizing them and putting them in conversation with each other (i.e. synthesizing them) and responding to them in the context of this course, your own research plans, and the project itself. How do the readings “talk” to one another? How do they support the work we are doing in this project, and in this course? What do you take away from this week’s readings as most beneficial, interesting, important, or controversial?
