For this assignment, you will reflect on what you have learned about weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) and the threat that each component—chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or explosive (CBRN-E)—poses in addition to the actors who either possess them or are attempting to use them for nefarious purposes.
Imagine that you have chosen to pursue a career working to prevent, deter, and defeat those interested in obtaining and using WMDs against the United States. In your paper, you will discuss the role that you would play in the field to combat the proliferation of WMDs by terrorist organizations or rogue nations. As a part of your discussion, include the ways that differing ideologies of terrorist groups and rogue nations would use WMDs. Conclude your reflection paper with any opportunities for your future learning.
The reflective paper must be at least two pages in length. You must use at least two sources (scholarly, peer-reviewed, or authoritative) as references. Adhere to APA Style when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and references for all sources that are used. Please note that no abstract is needed.
